API Media Supports the 2026 FIFA World Cup

East Rutherford, NJ — API Media was selected to provide IPTV service and install televisions at the NY/NJ Meadowlands host site in East Rutherford, NJ.  Working alongside Safari Solutions to distribute IPTV signal throughout the hospitality structures outside the stadium, API Media installed 135 large screen televisions and IPTV equipment so that attendees can stay up to date on local matches, as well as other games being played across North America.

The FIFA World Cup is an international association football competition among the senior men's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. The tournament has been held every four years since the inaugural tournament in 1930, with the exception of 1942 and 1946 due to World War II. 

API Media was on site at the NY/NJ stadium to support five Group Stage matches as well as the Round of 32 match where France defeated Sweden, the Round of 16 match with Norway defeating Brazil, and the FIFA World Cup Final ending with a 1-0 victory for Spain over the 2022 reigning champions Argentina.
